Our Story
Early on in their careers, both Jamie Meldrum and Michael Horne had the opportunity to work at Carleton Financial Group.
Their mentors – including Jamie’s father – were known as the “giants” of the employee benefits industry. They had worked for large insurance firms and had written the book on providing group benefits and pension services to large multinational companies.
Jamie and Mike gained a depth of knowledge and expertise that other advisors simply do not have.
Jamie and Mike partnered to form Meldrum Horne to bring the knowledge, expertise, and services generally reserved for multinational companies to the small to medium sized companies that make up Ottawa’s businesses community.
With a firm grasp on the digital age, able to relate to younger business owners and serve both established and up-and-coming businesses, they are the new generation of group benefit consultants.
